We help independent artists, labels, and managers get the most out of Afaq Music. Whether you're preparing your first release or chasing a royalty statement, you'll find the right channel below.

Contact channels

Please write from the email address linked to your Afaq Music account so we can locate it quickly.

Response times

We aim to answer every ticket within one business day. Complex royalty, rights, or metadata investigations can take up to five business days while we cross-check records with our DSP partners.

Before you write

  • Include your artist or label name, and the UPC or ISRC of the release when relevant.
  • Attach screenshots or short screen recordings for UI, delivery, or playback issues.
  • For royalty questions, tell us the reporting period and the store you're asking about.
  • For takedowns or metadata edits, describe the exact change you need and any supporting proof of ownership.

Common topics

Releases & delivery

Standard delivery to major DSPs takes 24–72 hours after we approve your release. Pre-orders and pre-saves should be scheduled at least 14 days in advance so every store has time to index your product page.

Metadata corrections

Send correction requests in writing. We push approved changes to DSPs within ten business days; final update timelines depend on each store's own processing.

Royalties & payouts

Statements are issued quarterly, within 30 days of the reporting period close, subject to the minimum payout threshold in your agreement. Balances below the threshold roll over to the next period.

Takedowns

You can request a takedown of your own release at any time. If you're reporting infringing content owned by someone else, please use the copyright channel above and include proof of rights.

Status & incidents

If a DSP is delayed on delivery or reporting, we post an update in your dashboard and email account holders directly — you don't need to open a ticket for known incidents.

Report a copyright issue (DMCA / takedown)

If you believe a release distributed via Afaq Music infringes your rights, email legal@afaqmusic.online with:

  • Your full name, contact details, and the rights you hold.
  • The infringing release (title, artist, UPC or ISRC) and the DSPs where it appears.
  • Proof of ownership — registration certificate, publishing agreement, or equivalent.
  • A statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorised.

We action valid notices within 3 business days and notify the uploader so they can counter-notify if appropriate.

Escalations

If a ticket has been open for more than 5 business days without resolution, reply to the thread with the word ESCALATE in the subject or write directly to hello@afaqmusic.online. A senior team member will pick it up within one business day.

Account security

Suspected account takeover or unauthorised login? Change your password immediately and email legal@afaqmusic.online. We will freeze payouts and audit recent activity on the account while we investigate.
